Welcome to the gender and transport network (GATNET)
virtual discussion on the World Banks Transport Strategy.
As many of you are aware, the World Bank is currently
reviewing its Transport Strategy. GATNET has been given a great,
hard-to-find opportunity to contribute to the process. This is
a chance for us to increase the visibility of gender on the Banks
transport agenda. We have up to the end of April to make our contributions.
The
consultation, moderated by Gatnet members, will commence on Monday 3rd
April 2006 and continue for 4 weeks. This is how we agreed to go about
the discussion:
