The symposium on Underutilised Plants was held in Arusha, Tanzania during 3-7 March, 2008. At the end of the symposium a number of recommendations were formulated by the participants and issues for follow up were identified. This e-conference serves as a follow up to the symposium and is intended for the discussion of key issues that have arisen as a result of the symposium. The issues are grouped according to the priority themes of climate change, nutrition, market access and agrobiodiversity.
